Here at SUSO, home of one of the best selling soft drinks in secondary schools nationwide, we are launching our second piece of innovation for 2010, New SUSO Sparkling Tropical. This initiative is set to build on SUSO’s tremendous sales momentum across the education sector and kick-start the autumn terms and new academic year.

Our new innovative Sparkling Tropical variant is entirely focused on the wants and needs of teenagers and will build on the sales momentum of the existing SUSO range, driving market share growth during a key back-to-school period.

Made with mixed fruit juices, including passionfruit and pineapple, a touch of water and carbonation for refreshment, SUSO Sparkling Tropical not only delivers one of your five a day, but also meets all Government nutritional standards for drinks in schools.

SUSO is unashamedly a fizzy drink, but one that is healthier for everyone. Each 250ML can is portion controlled to deliver teens with the optimum serving size for their needs.

SUSO Chief Executive Officer, Sean Uprichard says: “In our recent research, UK teenagers told us they love the look and feel of SUSO – from the artistically-designed recyclable cans, to the refreshing fruity taste. As the new cool fizzy fruit drink, they tell us they are also continually looking for us to offer exciting new flavours.

The Launch of SUSO Sparkling Apple was the logical first new flavour extension for SUSO. Given the popularity of exotic fruit tastes among teenagers, New SUSO Sparkling Tropical is our second. This flavour offers a great new taste and an extra burst of refreshment and excitement in the school dining hall for the new academic year.”

The launch of SUSO Sparkling Tropical will be supported with a trade press and brand campaign and will be activated through the www.suso.co.uk website, which engages teens and encourages them to adopt the SUSO “NO CAN’T DO” attitude.
