The Fall

The Fall.

Continent spanning and mind expanding, Tarsem’s film is a gorgeous paean to the power of the imagination. From his hospital bed, a Hollywood stuntman weaves a magical tale of fantasy and romance to a spellbound girl. But does his story hide a sad reality?

A labour of love filmed across 18 countries, The Fall is a joyful marriage of Tarsem’s visionary style and extraordinary art direction that uses the whole world as a stage. And it certainly seemed to go down a treat at the Rex last night. Most were agreed that it was a ravishing and powerful take on the meaning and art of storytelling.

Thanks to all who made it down.
